5th Annual Red Cliff Cultural Days Slated for September 24-26
Red Cliff Wis -- The Red Cliff tribal community is preparing to celebrate the 5th Annual Red Cliff Cultural Days from September 24 - September 26, 2021.
Red Cliff Cultural Days is the celebration of culture, community, and family connections. This event promises to be loaded with activities, events, and recreation for youth and adults alike with a focus on bringing families together.
The 5th Annual Red Cliff Cultural Days will be located on the Red Cliff reservation (Miskwaabekong), just 3 miles north of Bayfield, Wisconsin.
Schedule of Events
LaPointe Band of Ojibwe 1854 Treaty Memorial Golf Tournament
The golf tournament is open to the first 40 teams that sign up and pay. Teams can register by calling (715) 779-3700. You can connect with Jean at extension 4227, Melissa at extension 4256, or Lora at extension 4237. Registration Deadline is September 10, 2021. The golf tournament will be held at the Apostle Highlands Golf Course (34745 Madeline Trail, Bayfield WI).
This is a 2-man scramble with a shotgun start at 9AM. The registration fee is $100 per team, and that includes a feast. Trophies are available for teams that finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
This event is held to raise funds for the Red Cliff Kids Christmas Event.
This is a three-day tournament; September 24th, 25th, and 26th. The softball tournament offers two brackets for participation; 8-Team Male Bracket, and the 4-Team Co-Ed Bracket.
Entry fee is $100 per team with 100% payback (plus added money). Registration is open to the first 8 teams that register and pay in the 8-Team Male Bracket, and first 4 teams that register and pay in the 4-Team Co-Ed Bracket.
Registration deadline is September 10th, 2021
Awards will be provided for Male and Female MVP, Home Run Hero, and Team 3 Teams.

Food and Craft Vendors
Food and craft vendors are available all weekend at the Legendary Waters Resort & Casino parking lot. Artisans from various backgrounds will be onsite with beaded works, clothing, photography, handmade crafts, and the plethora of food vendors. Come for the great food, enjoy a lemonade, Indian Taco, Fry Burger, or desert treats.
Food vendors wishing to join in on the festivities can do so by registering their food truck or food stand by calling (715) 779-3700 and asking for Melissa or Jeanne. Food Vendors can register for $250 which covers the entire weekend, and Craft Vendors can register for $150 which covers the entire weekend.
Food and Craft Vendors are on-site September 24, 25, and 26.
Starting Saturday, September 25th, 2021, and continuing into Sunday, September 26th, 2021 is the 5th Annual Red Cliff Days Pow Wow.
Saturday Grand Entry
1PM starts the first grand entry of the day with host drums, Whitefish Bay Singers, Always Thundering, and Standing Bear. Your Master of Ceremonies includes Dylan Jennings, and the Arena Director is Joseph Dick, and rounding out the lineup is Frank Montano, Spiritual Advisor.
6PM stars the second grand entry of the day.
Sunday Grand Entry
1PM stars the final grand entry of Red Cliff Cultural Days.
All drums must pre-register with Demitri Morris and there is a 10 drum maximum. You can contact Demitri Morris by calling (715) 779-9463. All dancers will be paid every session. This even is open to the public. Come on out and join the Red Cliff tribal community and help them celebrate their 5th annual Red Cliff Cultural Days.
Legendary Classic Car Show
Starting at 9AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 and going until 3PM, Legendary Waters Resort & Casino will be hosting a Legendary Classic Car Show. Come out and see the wide variety of classic vehicles on display. There will be 16 categories on display, and cash prizes are awarded to the winners of each category. The categories include; Original 0-54, Original 55-60, Original 61-65, Original 66-70, Original 71-80, Original 81-94, 4-Door, Convertible, Rat Rod, Street Machine, Factory Muscle, 2WD Pickup, 4X4s, Customs, Late Models ('95+), and Specialty.
Adrian Reede Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Starting on Saturday, September 25 at 9:00am will be the youth division of play. The youth division includes co-ed teams composed of 6th-8th grade athletes. High School teams are composed of 9th-12th grade athletes in co-ed teams. Each team is limited to four players and must include one female athlete. The tournament will be structured with a 6 team round robin style play for all age groups.
Starting on Sunday, September 26 at 9:00am will be the adult division of play. The adult division follows the same rules; four player limit with one female athlete. The tournament will be structured with a 6 team round robin style of play.
